On Dec. 5, 2019, McGuireWoods Baltimore lawyers partnered with Exelon, Constellation, BGE and the Baltimore City Bar Senior Legal Services to assist low-income seniors at a pro bono estate-planning legal clinic held at the Elderslie-St. Andrews Church in Baltimore City.
More than 20 volunteers assisted 18 clients in drafting 34 estate planning documents, including wills, advanced medical directives and financial powers of attorney. McGuireWoods lawyers have been participating in these clinics every quarter for the past four years and expect to continue participating.
Volunteers for the Dec. 5 clinic included McGuireWoods Baltimore office managing partner Cecil Martin, partner Elena Marcuss, attorney Peter Duhig and associate Anna Horevay.
