The Greater Richmond Bar Foundation named Richmond counsel Alexandria Cuff its 2021 Benjamin R. Lacy IV Volunteer of the Year. GRBF presented the awards during its annual Pro Bono Celebration and CLE Training event on Oct. 26, 2021.
Cuff has volunteered with the Legal Aid Justice Center’s (LAJC’s) Pro Bono Housing Unit for more than a decade, continuing to assist pro bono clients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, virtually and in court. She is a member of the LAJC Advisory Council.
In 2019, Cuff received the Richmond Bar Association’s Young Lawyer of the Year Award. She also received the Next Generation of Philanthropy Award, recognizing her efforts on behalf of the Federation of Virginia Food Banks. She chairs the Virginia Legal Food Frenzy.
